0 Question: Hey Jessica Irving! How are you? Anyway, what are distant quakes? Keywords: distant quake, science Asked by anon-332714 to Jessica on 14 Oct 2022.
Jessica Irving answered on 14 Oct 2022:
Distant quakes are ones far away from the instrument which is detecting them. Distant quakes aren’t felt by humans – they are too far away. But we can still record ground vibrations from them with instruments called seismometers.
