0 Question: What happens during a black hole? Keywords: black hole Asked by anon-332690 to Tom, Stacy on 17 Oct 2022.
Tom Louth answered on 17 Oct 2022:
A black hole isn’t an event, it is an object just like a star (but often much heavier). Other objects can orbit it, or if something falls in then it gets heavier, just like how the Earth gets heavier if a meteor lands on it.
