Hi! I make around £47,000, but i’ve worked in my role for about 10 years getting slow salary increases. you would probably make about £25000 in a PhD program (it’s less than that but you don’t need to pay tax, so that’s about the equivalent wage). And about £30,000 when you start, which will increase overtime as you gain more experience.
