I am not involved directly in space missions, but the next one my larger group will be involved in is JUICE, or the JUpiter ICy moons Explorer. This mission aims to launch next year and after its cruise phase (7.5 years) will spend a few years making detailed observations of Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. One of the main questions would be around what is needed for the emergence of habitable worlds and possible life around gas giants?
