I have seen lots of satellites and even the International Space Station. You just have to look up on a clear night, preferably in the early evening. If a dot is moving evenly across the sky and not flashing then it is almost certainly a satellite.

Yes, you can get trackers on your phone to know when to look up. You’ll be seeing the light from our Sun reflected at the right angles to see them on the ground.
