  It has changed over the years!
  When I was finishing my PhD, I would work from 10am until about 6pm, then I would write my thesis at work until 1am, cycle home, sleep, then come back in the next day for 10am. That’s not very sustainable!
  Once that was finished i worked quite strictly 9am to 5pm, while i was mainly doing research.
  Now i have a child and tend to work in the office around 9:30 to 3:30, then i will do some work at home also, for example some evening i need to do a lecture to our students who live all over the world.
