• Question: if a planet with no atmosphere was hit by a solar storm would it be destroyed?

      No. But it could a damage. By solar storm – I think we’re talking about Coronal Mass Ejections or Solar Flares or Geomagnetic Storms. Each of these can damage life and cause lots of disruption but it would not be planet destroying. At Surrey Space Centre – we study this area is a lot of depth.
