• Question: why can't we live on mars?

      There’s a lot of reasons! Mars doesn’t have much of an atmosphere, so there’s little air to breathe. Plus as far as we can tell, nothing grows on Mars, so there’d be nothing to eat! On top of that, because it’s further away from the Sun than Earth, it can get very very cold—on average it’s -65°C! One day, we might be able to live on Mars, but we’d have to figure out how to overcome all these things first!
