Joe Shreeves answered on 20 Oct 2022:
I definitely enjoy working as a mechanical engineer, it’s fun for me as I enjoy creating different designs to solve challenging problems and then working to turn the designs into a real product. It involves many different areas such as: selecting the best materials for a design, looking at how to manufacture something, checking a design can withstand the forces it will experience when in use, assembling items and testing them in the lab. All that variety keeps it interesting from day to day and it’s great to finish a project to see what impact it can have.
