Question: do you know how many people have been in space? Is there any internet in space?

  As of checking now – looks like 639 people have been to space:) For communication purposes there needs to be a dedicated ground station downlink, and this may include access to the internet. I believe that the International Space Station is well supported in this regard, and astronauts on the ISS do have internet access (but they have to share this with general station communications, so likely rather slow).
