      Good question. I’ve designed satellites and start to finish can take 18-24 months (sometimes longer) depending on complexity. That includes design, analysis, manufacture, assembly and testing.

      As many satellites are very similar, it’s possible to shorten design/manufacturing times as they may share commonalities that make things easier. However, there’s still a lot to do in a very short space of time!
