Hello! Seismology means studying earthquakes and the shaking (waves) they make. A seismologist is someone who does this. Seismologists think about where and why earthquakes happen, and use the waves from earthquakes to understand what’s happening inside the Earth, below the surface. Some seismologists, like me, use quakes on Mars (called marsquakes!) to try to solve the same puzzles for Mars.
