Yes! I’ve met lots of well known scientists, like Sir Paul Nurse (2001 Nobel Prize in Medicine), Professor Brian Cox (he is at my university!), Professor Chris Whitty., Professor Jennifer Doudna (an American biochemist who has done pioneering work in gene-editing) and lots more 🙂

Yes, I’ve met about 10 astronauts now, politicians, and other science / geek heroes. I worked to deliver radio communications as part of a team and when the astronaut came back, I high fived him at a conference. The fact that he knew who I was – was amazing.
